Your required Political Declaration will need the following information:
- Official Campaign Committee
Name -- This is the name
that is included on your 'Paid for by'
disclaimer
- The Campaign Committee's Authorized
Agent -- This is most
often your committee's Treasurer, but
can also be your Candidate or Campaign
Manager in some circumstances. If you
don't know who your authorized agent
is, we recommend checking with your
committee's compliance team or legal
counsel.
- Campaign's
Website URL --
This is the public facing website URL
of the campaign committee
- Campaign Committee's Address and
Telephone Number -- This
should match the address and telephone
number that is on file with the
Federal Election Commission
(FEC)
- Financial Disclosure
URL -- This should be the
link to your committee's FEC public
disclosure filings. The information on
this linked page should match all
other information entered
previously.
Campaign account users will be prompted to enter their political declaration information immediately when they log in for the first time upon creating an account. A pop-up window will appear and request the necessary information for your disclosures:
Agency and Organization users will need to create political advertising disclosures unique to each advertising entity, and these accounts may maintain more than one political advertiser's information. To add an advertiser, click "New Campaign" on the Turn It Blue Ads homepage, then click "Add Advertiser" or by click on "My Advertisers" then "Add Advertiser" in the top right corner.
