This includes statewide ballot measures or local municipal ballot measures.

Your required Political Declaration falls under the 'State/Local race' designation and will be nearly identical to the Federal declaration, however you will NOT be required to submit a link to your campaign's financial disclosures.

If you are a Campaign user, you will enter your political declaration information when you set up your account, however Organizations and Agencies will need to add a new Advertiser for their ballot initiatives.

Campaign account owners will be prompted to enter their political declaration information immediately when they log in for the first time upon creating an account. A pop-up window will appear and request the necessary information for your disclosures

The State/Local political declaration (including ballot measures!) requires the following information:

  1. Official Campaign Committee Name -- This is the name that is included on your 'Paid for by' disclaimer.

  2. The Campaign Committee's Authorized Agent-- This is most often your committee's Treasurer, but can also be your Campaign Chair or Manager in some circumstances. If you do not know who your authorized agent is, we recommend checking with your committee's compliance team or legal counsel.

  3. Campaign's Website URL -- This is the public facing website URL of the campaign committee.

  4. Campaign Committee's Address and Phone Number -- this should be the best address and phone number to reach the campaign.

5. Other State-Specific Information -- If your local jurisdiction requires more specific information than this form seeks, you may use this blank to enter that information. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete compliance information for your jurisdiction.

Agency and Organization Users

You will need to create political advertising disclosures unique to each advertising entity, and these accounts may maintain more than one political advertiser's information. To add an advertiser, click "New Campaign" on the Turn It Blue Ads homepage, then click "Add Advertiser" or by click on "My Advertisers" then "Add Advertiser" in the top right corner.
