File Size:
Check if your files are too large. Files being used for a programmatic video campaign must be under 100 MB in size, while files being used as part of a CTV/OTT campaign must be within 50MB-250MB. If your file exceeds this limit, ask your creative vendor for a smaller file, or consider compressing it before uploading.
Video Duration:
Ensure that your video is not too short or too long. Videos must meet one of the exact standard video lengths
For Programmatic Video (Pre–roll / Mid-roll) there are four standard ad lengths that your video must adhere to:
:06-sec :15-sec :30-sec :60-sec
For CTV and OTT Video (Streaming Services) there are two standard ad lengths that your video must adhere to:
:15-sec :30-sec
If your video falls outside this range, you may need to trim or extend its duration accordingly.
PRO TIP:For Programmatic - :06-sec and :15-sec units have substantially more inventory than :30-sec or :60-sec For CTV/OTT - :30-sec units are preferred for placements. We highly recommend having at least one :15-sec and one :30-sec creative in your media mix.
Aspect Ratio:
Verify that the video has the correct dimensions. The recommended aspect ratio is 16:9, which provides a horizontal widescreen format. If your video has a different aspect ratio, you may need to resize or crop it to meet the required 16:9 ratio.
File Format:
Confirm that your video is saved in the right file format. The acceptable format for upload is .mp4 (MPEG-4). If your video is in a different format, you may need to convert it to .mp4 using video conversion software or by asking your creative vendor.
