A domain-linked email (DLE) address is an email address associated with your campaign or organization's website URL. To ensure compliance with state and federal political ad authorization requirements, you MUST register with an email that matches the URL domain for your entity.

A correct domain-linked email would be something like hello@turnitbluedigital.com or creativeshop@turnitbluedigital.com because turnitbluedigital.com is our organization's website URL. We could not, however, use an email like turnitbluedigital@gmail.com or turnitbluedigital@yahoo.com because we aren't advertising for Gmail or Yahoo.

For a Campaign Ad Account, if the website domain for your campaign is www.jordanadler.com, you must register with an email that matches the format xxx@jordanadlercom. Free email accounts (such as those ending with @gmail / @yahoo / @mail or similar) do not meet political authorization requirements and unfortunately will be denied access. So tomhaverford@gmail.com won't work for political ad authorization requirements.

For an Organization Ad Account, the website domain for your account must match your organization's URL. For example, if you want to run ads for your local County Democratic Party (www.countyparty.org), you must register for your account with an email address that matches your organization's website—such as info@countyparty.org or vote@countyparty.org.

For Agency Partner Ad Accounts, your DLE must match your agency's website—like how hello@turnitbluedigital.com matches www.turnitbluedigital.com. Agency partners will be required to comply with the same political ad authorizations as campaigns and organizations, but the process will work differently within the system.
