Please note: Conversion/Acquisition ("CPA") Campaign goal optimization is an advanced feature that should be utilized by those familiar with running acquisition campaigns. While it can be a great tool for experienced users, it can also be incredibly nuanced for those who are not familiar with the best practices.

A pixel is a small piece of code placed on a website to track user behavior and interactions. In the context of a conversion campaign, pixels are essential for measuring the effectiveness of advertising efforts. They allow users to track conversions, such as donations or sign-ups, and attribute them back to specific ads or campaigns. This data is crucial for optimizing ad targeting, budget allocation, and messaging to improve campaign performance and achieve desired outcomes.

The Turn It Blue Ads platform allows you to quickly and easily generate the pixel to track the progress of your conversion campaign. First, choose "Conversion/Acquisition" for your campaign's Goal Optimization in step two of the campaign builder:

Next, after you have chosen your CPA goal, you will need to generate your conversion pixel. Click the "Generate" button, and a small snippet of code will appear in the line below.

Next, a small snippet of code will appear in the line below. Click "Copy" to copy the code to your computer's clipboard. This will allow you to easily paste the code into the header of your website. This should be the same website where your ads will click-through when someone clicks the ads (and which you enter when you create the creative files within Turn It Blue Ads.

It may work well to preemptively open the backend design access to your landing page you plan to use for your ads so you are ready to paste the code section into the header.

Once you have placed the tracking pixel into the header code of your landing page, you want to place the URL for your landing page into Turn It Blue Ads and click "Verify." This will trigger a pop-up notification letting you know that your pixel is being tested and open your landing page in a new browser.

You should continue to set up the remainder of your campaign's details, pay and launch your campaign while your pixel verifies (it can take up to 24-hours), but don't worry, your campaign will not actually begin running ads until your pixel is verified to be installed correctly.

When your conversion pixel is verified you will receive an email notification letting you know that the campaign is now LIVE. If for some reason your pixel does not verify correctly, you will also receive an email notification asking you to correct any issue with the installation and re-submit for verification.

Please note: We appreciate your understanding that Turn It Blue Ads can not assist in troubleshooting pixel issues or placing your conversion pixel, nor do we take responsibility for campaigns that do not install and configure their pixel and/or trigger actions correctly.
